The Hawaiian Wildlife Gallery includes wildlife images taken in Hawaii or of wildlife species found in Hawaii. Green sea turtles (or honus) are commonly found in the waters of the Hawaiian Islands, and the swimmer or snorkeler often encounters these docile creatures gracefully swimming alongside or underneath them in the Hawaiian near-shore waters. The Koloha, or Humpback Whale frequent Hawaiian waters during the winter months where they mate and give birth to calves. Their aerial acrobatics can be seen from whale watch boat tours and also from land. Included in the Wildlife Gallery is a collection of jellyfish images. The graceful underwater dance of the jellyfish is pure art in motion.
This gallery includes some of my favorite landscape and wildlife images from the western U.S., Australia, Thailand, South Africa and Botswana. Many of the images show the beauty and amazing wildlife inhabitants of our wonderful national parks.
This Gallery includes images from my travel destinations around the world, including France, the Solomon Islands, Botswana, South Africa, Thailand, Australia, and the western States of the U.S. Some of the images are best portrayed as Black and White Images, while others show the vibrant color of the locale.
This gallery includes images from nine of the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. The wildlife inhabitants are unusual in that they have evolved without land predators and therefore have no fear of humans, allowing a very up close and personal experience with the wildlife.
