Honu Blessing - Juried Art Exhibit Recognition
My photomontage titled “Honu Blessing” was accepted into a juried art exhibit at the West Hawaii Community Health Center in Kealakehe, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The exhibit, titled “Art is Healing; A Sense of Place,” received over 130 submissions, with only 40 works selected.
A public reception was held on Friday, August 14, 2015, and was well attended. Donors to the health center also had the opportunity to purchase artwork and donate it for permanent display.
